Christian Beliefs 101

What If Joe Biden Wins?

If Joe Biden wins the presidency it will start a period in which biblical Christianity will begin to noticeably decline (as thought it hasn’t been doing that for years anyway). Many of the values of the Democratic Party, which are clearly anti-Christian, anti-Bible, and pro-abortion can be affected by the President of the United States in the form of Executive Orders. The real damage and the expedited demise of Christianity will occur if the Senate majority becomes Democratic and the House of Representatives remains in Democratic control. Without belaboring the point, either way, biblical Christianity is under attack like never before. I’m not talking about that Christianity in which its followers blend into the world, do what the world does, participate in politics, follow little if any biblical principles, and wonder why God doesn’t listen to them when a Presidential election goes the wrong way. Why would God even care about the outcome?

God can make the walls of Jericho fall down by having his people march around it and shout, (Joshua 6:1-27) but he can’t keep a bunch of Democrats (and Republicans) from lying and cheating with regard to stealing, and creating ballots. How many of them profess to be believers in Jesus? You would be surprised. Statistics alone would shock you. If Christianity is supposed to have a falling away before the Lord’s return, well, we are certainly on track for that. It won’t happen overnight, but it will happen. This presidential election has been about social values and biblical Christianity is the antithesis to those values being pursued by Democrats. There is significantly more sinister things at play with the Democratic philosophy than the implementation of socialist values. NOTE: Republicans are no better. Who told you to vote in the first place? Israel wanted a king so they could be like everyone else. So you get to vote to determine who your elected officials will be. Let’s not forget that Roe v. Wade was a 7-2 U.S. Supreme Court decision by a conservative appointed court. And one of the dissenting votes was a Democrat.

The one thing that you have to remember above all else, even in, or perhaps especially in, the world of politics —is that it is the Devil’s world, lock, stock and barrel. He owns it, he controls it and the Word of God confirms that fact. Jesus didn’t correct the Devil in Matthew 4:8-10 when the Devil said all the kingdoms of the world were his. Jesus expressed the view that Christians weren’t of the world in the first place.

“Therefore, come out from among them and be separate,” says the Lord, “Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you.” —2 Corinthians 6:17

Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather correct them. —Ephesians 5:11

And if you read Revelation 11:15-17 and 12:10 you will clearly see that Jesus doesn’t begin to rule this world until much later in the book of Revelation.

Little by little biblical Christians will be forced to change their value system and become more like the world, or, at the very least, accept the world’s value system more and more. Look at Christianity now. Very little in any denomination has much of a resemblance to the Christianity spoken of in the Bible. 2 Corinthians 6:17 says, “Come out from among them and be separate.” Where does that happen? If people didn’t say things like, “Have a blessed day,” you would more than likely not have a clue that they might be a Christian, or more likely that they think they are a Christian.

The frog is in the kettle and the heat is being turned up.
